Palmdale, CA – Jessica Ordaz Killed in Head-On Collision on 50th Street East
Palmdale, CA – (November 16, 2018) – A woman was killed in a suspected DUI crash on Thursday evening in Palmdale. The accident took place at 6:50 pm on November 15th on 50th Street East, north of Avenue P.
The California Highway Patrol has confirmed, 35-year-old Mary Kruppe, of Pearblossom, was driving a 2014 Jeep Wrangler on 50th Street when he suddenly swerved into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a 2010 Mazda 3, driven by 29-year-old Jessica Ordaz, of Lancaster. Paramedics rushed to the crash site and performed CPR on Ordaz in an attempt to revive her but sadly she succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene of the accident. Kruppe also sustained injuries in the accident and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Officials confirmed alcohol was suspected to be a factor in the deadly crash.
At this time, this accident is under investigation.
