Vehicle Accidents in California
Last year, about 3,500 people lost their lives in vehicle accidents in California. Whenever someone loses a loved one in an accident, there’s an option to file a wrongful death lawsuit. However, figuring out who to file the claim against can be difficult. There are many factors to consider when determining who should be held liable for a vehicle accident, such as whether a vehicle had a defective part, whether the roads were hazardous, whether the weather was dangerous, or whether a driver partook in negligent behavior. In order to prove negligence, one has to prove duty, breach, causation, and damages.
Since there were three vehicles that were involved in this collision, there may be some complications in figuring out who should be held responsible. Once the police have completed their investigation, the police report could help the deceased victim’s family with their case.
