Perris, CA – Two Hurt in Car Crash on 215 Freeway That Blocked Lanes

Perris, CA (March 6, 2019) – Police reported that two people were injured in a crash on the I-215 that blocked both lanes early Saturday morning, around 2:14 a.m. The two people have since been identified as 70-year-old Elizabeth Espino and 77-year-old Victor Espino.

The California Highway Patrol reported that their vehicle was involved in an accident and crashed into a guardrail in the center divider of the highway. Debris was strewn everywhere due to the force of the serious collision.

Elizabeth received a serious head laceration and neck pain, while Victor complained of leg pain. The two freeway lanes were blocked until about 2:46 a.m., when evidence was collected and the scene was cleared.

The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation at this time.
