Menlo Park, CA – Person Struck, Injured by Caltrain

Menlo Park, CA (February 24, 2019) – An unidentified victim was walking on train tracks when a northbound Caltrain struck and injured them.

Train no. 801 was moving north around 10:17 a.m. when it hit the victim.

Paramedics came to the scene, where the person, who survived being hit, was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries. There is no information at this time on how serious the person’s injuries are.

The trains began moving through the region again around 10:47 a.m. There were around 615 passengers on the train at the time of the accident and none were injured.
