Pine Valley, CA – Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 8 Leads to Injuries

Pine Valley, CA (February 6, 2019) – This morning, February 6, a multi-vehicle accident took place on Interstate 8 that led to injuries. Police responded to the accident around 5:10 a.m.

The accident took place on Interstate 8 and involved a total of four vehicles. At the time, a truck had been traveling westbound on the highway when it suddenly lost control due to the icy roadway. This caused the truck to slam into the bridge railing on the side of the Interstate.

Three other vehicles were not able to stop in time, which caused them to slam into the truck. A four-month-old child was a passenger in one of the vehicles.

Police reported that an unknown number of parties were injured in the accident and all victims were able to get out by themselves. At this time, police have not identified the parties involved but their investigation continues.
