Piru, CA – Crash Injures Four People, Closes Highway 126
Piru, CA (March 2, 2019) – On Saturday, March 2, a car crash temporarily closed Highway 126, leaving four people injured in its wake.
The crash occurred around 2:00 p.m. along East Telegraph Road/Highway 126, east of Center Street.
California Highway Patrol stated that there were two cars involved in the accident: a black SUV, which ended up in a ditch, and a white sedan, which was located in the road.
There was an injured person who needed immediate medical attention on the scene and an emergency helicopter was called. This victim was pulled from the wrecked vehicle at 2:26 p.m. Three additional people suffered injuries.
Highway 126 was closed in the immediate spot as authorities dealt with the repercussions of the crash.
