Piru, CA – Two Motorcycles Down After Crash on Highway 126

Piru, CA (March 9, 2019) – An accident on eastbound Highway 126 resulted in two motorcyclists down, each with a single rider, early Saturday afternoon.

The crash, which involved a third motor vehicle, happened at 1:49 p.m. on Highway 126, near Center Street. The initial CHP report stated that a Subaru was rear-ended by one or more of the motorcycles. The accident is still under investigation by the CHP.

The fire department and ambulances were called to the area of the accident, and eastbound traffic was delayed for a short time because the accident was blocking the slow lane.

Two victims were transported by ambulance to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita. The injuries were classified as intermediate to major.
