Pittsburg CA- Antioch Man Dead After Motorcycle Accident on Hwy 4

Pittsburg, CA (June 12, 2019)- A man killed in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday has been identified as 61-year-old Antioch resident Randall Utter.

The accident occurred on Highway 4 west of the Somersville Road on-ramp at approximately 2:15 pm. According to the California Highway Patrol, Utter’s Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a BMW crashed in the westbound lanes of the highway. Reports stated that Utter was thrown from the motorcycle. He passed away at the site of the accident.

The BMW driver, who was uninjured in the accident, remained on the scene and cooperated with police.

The accident is under investigation. The California Highway Patrol asks witnesses to call 925-646-4980.
