Placer County, CA – Motorcycle Crash Claims the Life of Firefighter on Highway 65

Placer County, CA (July 13, 2018) – According to a report made by the California Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist apparently died Thursday night although his body was sadly not discovered until Friday morning by a motorist who was passing through the area. The victim was not known to have been killed until approximately 5:30 a.m. this morning.

The location of the accident was on Highway 65 at around the northbound Lincoln Boulevard off-ramp, according to local police. Police were immediately notified of the accident and authorities were quick to arrive on the scene in order to begin an investigation. Police officially stated that the victim was apparently a Placer Firefighter, although the man’s name has not been released at this time.

The motorcycle reportedly went off the road at some point on Thursday night, and authorities are unclear as to whether or not anyone else was involved. The events surrounding this horrific accident are currently being investigated as police are simply trying to figure out how this fatal crash occurred.
