Pleasanton, CA – Injuries Reported in Semi-Truck Accident near Sunol Blvd

Pleasanton, CA- (November 8, 2018) –A traffic collision involving a big rig occurred Thursday morning on a freeway in Pleasanton resulting in injuries. The pileup reportedly occurred mid-morning at approximately 10:38 am on the 680 Freeway, just north of the Sunol Boulevard on-ramp.

Reportedly, a Silver Honda Civic was following behind a tractor-trailer on Interstate 680 when all of a sudden the fender fell off the semi-truck and struck the Honda. Paramedics responded to the scene of the accident shortly after it occurred and transported an unspecified number of people to the hospital to treat injuries. The identities of the people involved in the incident and the extent of their injuries were not established at the time of the initial log.

As of now, an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
