Pomona, CA- Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on CA-60 Near Philips Ranch Rd.

Pomona, CA (April 18, 2019)- A motorcyclist sustained major injuries in a crash on Tuesday morning westbound on the Route 60 Freeway.

The collision occurred at approximately 10:35 am near Phillips Ranch Road and the Diamond Bar off-ramp in the middle lanes of Route 60.

Reports indicate that a gray Nissan Altima crashed with the motorcycle in the highway’s middle lanes close to Phillips Ranch Road. The Nissan driver did not stop immediately following the collision but instead drove until the CHP stopped the vehicle at the Diamond Bar off-ramp.

The motorcyclist suffered major injuries in the crash. Emergency medical personnel took him to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center for medical attention.

Police have begun an investigation into the cause of the crash.
