When Trucks Hit Pedestrians on California’s Roads
Pedestrians have little chance of escaping injury or death in collisions with big rig trucks. The National Highway Transportation Safety Board noted that 364 pedestrians were killed in collisions with big trucks in the US in 2016. This amounts to 6.1% of all fatal accidents with big rigs.
