Pedestrian Accidents in California
Recent studies indicate that most pedestrian accidents that result in injury tends to occur at intersections. The leading cause for most of these accidents is distracted driving, which includes using a cell phone, conversing with passengers, driving under the influence, driving fatigued, and more. To protect pedestrians, the state of California requires all drivers to yield or come to a complete stop whenever they see a pedestrian in the roadway.
The police are currently investigating to determine if Barrios will be held fully or partially liable since Puls was walking outside of the cross walk. Once they are done evaluating all possible factors, it’s possible that Puls could file a personal injury lawsuit with the help of a California personal injury attorney.
