Prunedale, CA. 6 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 156 and McGuffie Road

Prunedale, CA. (July 9, 2016) – A local and reliable news source reported a collision between two vehicles that resulted in several injuries at the intersection of Highway 156 and McGuffie Road on Sunday afternoon. The precise time of the accident has not been currently specified.

According to the reports made by the California Highway Patrol, one vehicle was stopped at the intersection when the driver of a silver vehicle crashed into it. There were reportedly two people in the parked car at the time of the accident. Three passengers and the driver of the silver vehicle apparently went off the road, eventually coming to a stop in a ditch. All four occupants of that vehicle were also injured.

The four victims in the silver vehicle were immediately taken to Natividad Medical Center with serious injuries. The two people who were in the vehicle that was struck complained of minor pain but were ultimately left at the scene without being transported to a hospital. California Highway Patrol officials are unsure whether or not drugs or alcohol were involved in this accident as they are currently conducting an investigation.
