Rancho Cucamonga, CA- Five People Seriously Injured in Crash on the 210 Freeway

Rancho Cucamonga, CA (May 2, 2019)- A collision in the eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway near the 15 Freeway caused serious injuries for five people.

The crash took place on Tuesday at around 3 am. Reports stated that a wrong-way driver hit a white pickup truck head-on. The force of the crash caused major damage to the driver’s side of the truck. Due to the truck’s damage, firemen were required to extricate two people from the vehicle.

One person extricated from the pickup was transported by ambulance for further treatment.

Three other people in the pickup, including one child, were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Witnesses reported that the person in the other vehicle was also extricated from their car and appeared unconscious.

At this stage, it is unknown whether or not alcohol or other substances were involved in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
