Rancho Peñasquitos, San Diego, California – Motorcyclist Severely Injured after Two-Vehicle Collision

Rancho Peñasquitos, San Diego, California (June 24, 2018) – Local news reports that multi-vehicle collision between a motorcycle and a car occurred in the vicinity of Caramel Mountain Road and Paseo Montalban sometime on the morning of Sunday, June 24, 2018. Additional resources have not revealed the identities of the 63-year old motorcyclist or the 25-year old motorist at this time.

News sources indicated the motorcyclist was driving south on Caramel Mountain Road when he attempted to directly cross in front of a Toyota Camry driven by the 25-year old motorist. As per the report, the motorcyclist turned sharply and suddenly and plowed into the side of the Camry, ultimately resulting in the crash.

After the accident, the motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where he received treatment for severe injuries. His condition, at this time, has not been disclosed. Meanwhile, the Camry driver did not sustain any injuries from the accident. As of now, the investigation into contributing factors behind the crash is ongoing.
