Red Bluff, CA- Crash on Highway 99 Near a Wal-Mart Distribution Center Leaves Four Injured
Red Bluff, CA (April 16, 2019)- A DUI driver collided with a mother driving two teens home from prom, leaving four injured on Saturday night. The crash occurred around midnight south of the Wal-Mart Distribution Center on Highway 99 westbound.
Reports stated that 51-year-old Red Bluff man Pablo Rivera-Orellana was driving southbound in a Toyota Corolla when he swerved into the opposing lane. He collided head-on with a northbound Dodge Ram truck driven by 40-year-old Jessica Bachman. A 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were passengers in the truck.
Medical personnel arrived at the site of the crash to find Rivera-Orellana with internal injuries and major head trauma. He was arrested for DUI and driving without a license.
Bachman reportedly sustained minor abrasions, as did the 15-year-old. The 14-year-old sustained injuries to her knee, back, neck, and head.
