Redding, CA – Danielle Davis Critically Hurt in Pedestrian Crash
Redding, CA (August 18, 2018) – A 37 year old woman named Danielle Davis suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian incident in Redding on Friday. The crash occurred at Cypress Avenue and Beverly Drive, according to reports. Davis was struck while walking in a westbound direction on Cypress.
Police report that the driver who struck Davis is identified as 37 year old Trisa Humiston. Humiston was driving an SUV at the time of the crash. Based on witness and police accounts, it appears as though Danielle Davis was in a crosswalk when she was struck by Humiston’s vehicle.
Davis suffered severe injuries in the collision. Her injuries are believed to be life-threatening and she was rushed to Mercy Medical Center following the crash. She is currently in critical condition.
The incident is still under investigation and there is no report at this time that Humiston has been charged for her role in this crash.
