Redondo Beach, CA – Woodrum Woolwine Jr. Killed in Accident on Pacific Coast Highway
Redondo Beach, CA – (November 27, 2018) – Authorities have identified the elderly man who was killed in a multi-vehicle accident last week in Redondo Beach. The coroner’s office has identified the deceased victim as 72-year-old Woodrum Woolwine Jr. The accident took place just before 2:50 pm on November 21st at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Torrance Boulevard.
According to officials, Woolwine Jr. was traveling westbound on Torrance when he ran a red light and collided with multiple northbound and southbound cars. First responders that arrived at the scene rushed to render aid to an unspecified number of injured victims. Firefighters discovered Woolwine Jr. unconscious in the roadway and emergency crews attempted to stabilize him, but despite their efforts, he died at the scene.
