Redwood City, CA – Injuries Sustained in Crash on 280 Freeway
Redwood City, CA – (December 5, 2018) –Injuries were sustained in a three-vehicle collision that occurred early Wednesday morning on Interstate 280 in Redwood City. The accident took place at approximately 1:12 am on December 5th, just north of Alpine Road.
As per the initial report, three unidentified vehicles were traveling on Interstate 280 approaching Alpine Road, when suddenly all three vehicles violently collided into one another. Police and firefighters were dispatched to the crash site where they rendered aid to the injured victims and transported an unknown number of people to a local hospital for treatment of the injuries they sustained. Tow trucks were used to clear the roadway of wreckage and debris. Police shut down all lanes until 2:29 am in an effort to conduct a thorough on-scene investigation. Details identifying the people involved in the accident have not been disclosed.
