Redwood City, CA. Motorcycle Rider Suffers Injuries After Crash on Highway 84

Redwood City, CA. (June 30, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a crash that occurred Saturday afternoon involving a motorcyclist who reportedly suffered serious injuries as a result. The accident took place at around 1:20 p.m. this afternoon in the westbound lanes of Highway 84, west of Old La Honda Road.

The reasons for the crash are currently unknown, but authorities reported that a black Toyota Sienna was the vehicle that collided with the motorcyclist. The rider, unfortunately, sustained very serious injuries during the accident. An air ambulance had to be called to the scene in order to provide assistance for the victim. The injured rider was reportedly airlifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

There is currently no more information available pertaining to the events that led to this accident. The victims’ name and the exact condition has not yet been released.
