Redwood City, CA – Motorcyclist Injured Following Crash at Oak Knoll and Hillcrest Drives

Redwood City, CA (September 2, 2018) – According to a report released by the California Highway Patrol stated that a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after a traffic accident at the intersection of Oak Knoll Drive and Hillcrest Drive. The collision took place Saturday afternoon, September 1, at approximately 2:27 p.m. in the Redwood Park area.

The California Highway Patrol received a call pertaining to the collision between a Honda motorcycle and another vehicle for reasons that have not been stated at this time. Paramedics along with officials from the fire department were promptly called to the scene to assist the victim. The riders’ injuries were reported to have been classified as serious, and the victim was immediately taken to Stanford Hospital to be treated.

According to reports, the motorcycle sustained very serious damage and Oak Knoll Drive was shut down as the investigation began and crews worked to clear the area. No further information was provided regarding the cause of this accident, and neither the name nor the current condition of the victim has been released.  Authorities are currently investigating the events that led to this collision.
