Rio Linda, CA – Major Injuries in Car Accident at Dry Creek Road Intersection

Rio Linda, CA (February 1, 2019) – Multiple people received major injuries in a car accident that took place at the intersection of Dry Creek Road and Elkhorn Boulevard on Thursday night.

The accident took place last night around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection when two vehicles collided head-on for reasons that are not yet known. One of the vehicles overturned, while the other was off the side of the road in a ditch.

An ambulance was immediately called to the scene so that paramedics could respond to the involved injured parties. The number of victims is not yet known.

Both lanes of the roadway were closed following the accident for quite some time. An investigation into the matter continues.
