Riverside, CA – Fatal Motorcycle Crash On I-215/US-60 Near Central Ave. and Watkins Dr.
Riverside, CA (May 5, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and an automobile occurred on May 4th just before 4:45 p.m. that took the life of one person.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred at 4:43 p.m. near Central Avenue and Watkins Drive on the 215/60 Freeway.
The motorcycle rider was ejected from the motorcycle at a speed of about 60 mph.
Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. The motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation. Sadly, he did not survive the injuries from this accident.
Roadways were closed pending investigations, but are now reopened.
