Riverside, CA – Fire Engine and Ambulance Struck at Scene of Unrelated Accident on 91 Freeway

Riverside, CA (March 9, 2019) – A collision involving a tractor-trailer, fire engine, and ambulance occurred on March 6^th around 10:00 p.m. The accident caused injuries to a paramedic on-scene.

The paramedic was hurt when the tractor-trailer hit the ambulance and the Riverside fire engine. First responders were working at the scene to help a car which had traveled over the side of the 91 Freeway, near Adams Street.

The tractor-trailer also went over the side of the freeway after hitting the other vehicles. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured. Both the fire engine and the ambulance retained extensive damage.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
