Riverside, CA- Multi-Car Accident on Hwy 91 West of I-15 Causes Severe Injuries

Riverside, CA (April 18, 2019)- A collision involving seven vehicles on Thursday at approximately 12:41 am resulted in severe injuries for at least one person.

The crash happened west of the 15 Freeway on Highway 91 eastbound. A SigAlert was issued and all lanes were shut down after the accident for a preliminary investigation and removal of the damaged vehicles by tow trucks.

An ambulance was called to the site of the crash to provide care to those injured. One victim was taken to Riverside Community Hospital after sustaining severe injuries.

Further details, including the name and condition of the person suffering severe injuries due to the crash, are not available at this time.

The reason why the seven vehicles collided is currently unknown. An investigation is ongoing.
