Riverside, CA – Several Injuries Following Two Related Car Crashes on Alessandro Boulevard

Riverside, CA (August 4, 2018) – A local news source reported two collisions that were reportedly caused by one pickup truck driver and resulted in several injuries Friday afternoon on Alessandro Boulevard. The severely injurious wreck took place at approximately 12:10 p.m. on the boulevard near Sycamore Canyon Road in Riverside.

The Riverside Police department confirmed that the driver of the pickup truck is considered a hit-and-run driver due to their actions which resulted in two collisions. Reportedly, the driver of a green pickup truck slammed into a white sedan and apparently kept on driving. An anonymous driver followed the hit-and-run motorist who continued down the road for a short time before colliding with another vehicle.

According to reports, seven people altogether were injured in the two collisions. Two of the victims suffered critical injuries. Three of the victims involved in the crashes apparently suffered only minor injuries while an additional two declined further treatments. After being hospitalized, the hit-and-run driver of the pickup who triggered both accidents was booked into jail. Investigators are continuing to work out all the details surrounding the incidents.
