Riverside, CA – Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Accident on Jurupa Avenue
Riverside, CA (March 5, 2019) – On the morning of March 5th, a three-vehicle accident happened at the intersection of Jurupa Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard. According to the reports, a female driving a GMC Yukon ran a red light, which caused a semi-truck to crash into her at around 6:00 a.m. A Volkswagen was also involved in the collision.
The female driver of the Yukon fled the scene and left her front-seat passenger injured inside of the damaged vehicle. Emergency crews transported the passenger to Riverside Community Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Volkswagen suffered minor injuries and was also transported to the hospital for treatment. The truck driver was unharmed.
The police are currently searching for the driver responsible.
