Riverside, CA – Four Injured after Brutal Accident on Magnolia Avenue and Harrison Street

Riverside, CA (July 15, 2018) – Local news sources reported that four people sustained injuries as the result of a brutal accident that took place in the vicinity of Magnolia Avenue and Harrison Street. The incident occurred at about 3:30 PM in the afternoon on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash at this time.

According to a report from the Riverside Fire Department, an unidentified brown sedan was traveling westbound down Magnolia while, at the same time, the driver of a black truck was attempting to make a left turn off Magnolia and onto Harrison. Without warning, the sedan sped through a red light and plowed into the truck.

Afterward, first responder teams of paramedics and firefighters rushed to the crash site to provide assistance.  Officials reported that the male sedan driver was extracted from the wrecked vehicle and had sustained severe trauma from the impact. Later, he was transported to a trauma center for treatment of critical injuries.

Two more victims also required hospitalization and received aid for non-life threatening injuries. As of now, their current physical conditions have not been revealed.

As of now, the investigation is ongoing.
