Riverside County, CA – Fatal Head-On Crash Claims Lives of Two Elderly Motorists

Riverside County, CA (July 25, 2018) – According to a local and reliable news source in Riverside County, two elderly drivers sadly passed away from their injuries after a head-on collision Tuesday night. The fatal collision that occurred along Domenigoni Parkway reportedly took place just shortly before 9:00 p.m. according to officials.

As per the article that was released, the two vehicles crashed after an 82-year-old man veered his vehicle over the dirt median in the center of Domenigoni Parkway and into the oncoming lane. The elderly man from Hemet reportedly proceeded to crash head-on into an elderly woman from Menifee, also 82 years of age, who was traveling in the opposite lane.

The male driver who seemingly caused this collision for reasons that are presently unknown reportedly died at the scene of the crash. The female driver involved was immediately rushed to Menifee Valley Medical Center where she later died from her injuries. There were no other occupants in either one of the vehicles involved in this collision. The investigation into the events that led to this deadly crash is currently being conducted in order to establish liability.
