Rocklin, CA – One Person Injured after Traffic Accident at West Sunset Boulevard and Place Corporate Drive

Rocklin, California (July 10, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that one person was injured after a traffic accident that took place at the intersection of West Sunset Boulevard and Placer Corporate Drive, in the vicinity of the Highway 65 off-ramp. The incident occurred at some time around 10:04 AM in the morning on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash at this time.

According to the California Highway Patrol log, a green 4-door sedan and a tan SUV were traveling in the Rocklin area when, for indeterminate reasons, the two vehicles collided at Sunset and Placer Corporate. First responder teams of firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and assisted one person, who sustained injuries during the impact. Afterward, this individual was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but personnel have not disclosed the patient’s current condition.

Following the crash, law enforcement blocked off the intersection.

As of now, the investigation is ongoing.
