Rohnert Park, CA – Man Struck and Killed in Forklift Accident on Carlson Avenue
Rohnert Park, CA (March 1, 2019) – On Wednesday, February 27, 19-year-old Francisco Torres was fatally struck in an accident on Carlson Avenue. Torres was run over by the forklift at his job.
At the time, Torres had been helping a co-worker with a forklift as they tried to carry roof trusses in an apartment complex that was under construction. Torres, however, was backed over by his co-worker.
The operator of the forklift moved the equipment when he realized what happened. However, even though he gave aid to the victim, Torres tragically passed away at the scene of the accident.
As of now, an investigation into the workplace fatality takes place.
