Sacramento, CA – At Least Two Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 50
Sacramento, CA (July 21, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle crash on Highway 50 that resulted in the injuries of at least two people early on Friday morning. The injurious accident that occurred on the highway near Howe Avenue reportedly took place at approximately 1:03 a.m.
The initial reports stated the one unidentified person was apparently seen wandering on the highway before being struck by a vehicle. The victim was immediately downed on the right-hand side of the I-5 Freeway, where they were reportedly struck again by multiple other vehicles.
The California Highway Patrol then reported two people lying down in the vicinity of the highway near Howe Avenue at around 1:18 a.m. According to the report, authorities have reason to believe that the two victims were motorcyclists. Both of the victims were reportedly transported to a hospital to be treated for unknown injuries. However, authorities do not know whether or not the two riders were involved in one collision or separate incidents. The vast amount of various details pertaining to this crash are currently under investigation.
