Sacramento, CA – Driver Dies after Brutal Collision along Highway 50 near Hazel Avenue Off-Ramp
Sacramento, CA (July 17, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a fatal accident took place along Highway 50 in the vicinity of the Hazel Avenue off-ramp. The incident occurred at approximately 1:55 AM in the early morning hours on Monday, July 16, 2018. Authorities identified the deceased victim as 62-year old Peter Soin, a resident of Folsom.
As per the report, Soin was driving a Ford Fiesta at an unsafe speed along Highway 50. Without warning, his vehicle crashed into two construction vehicles and careened into a guardrail. Officials declared that Soin had died during the impact and confirmed the two drivers of the freeway construction vehicles did not sustain injuries.
Authorities have asked civilians to call the East Sacramento CHP Office at (916) 464-1450 if they have any essential information related to the accident.
