Sacramento, CA – Head-on Collision With Police SUV at Intersection of Micron Ave and Hayhew Rd
Sacramento County, CA (November 2, 2018) – Officials have confirmed, four people were transported to the hospital after a van and a police SUV crashed into one another on Thursday afternoon in Rancho Cordova. The collision transpired at approximately 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 1st at Micron Avenue and Mayhew Road, near Capital Christian Church.
The initial police report indicates officers were responding to a call with sirens on when the police SUV crashed head-on with the van. Paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and rendered aid to the victims who sustained injuries upon impact of the collision. According to investigators, at least four people were transported to a local hospital for treatment of the injuries resulted from the accident. Authorities closed the intersection while the initial investigation was in progress, It was later reopened. The current physical condition of the injured victims was not immediately disclosed.
