Sacramento, CA – Hit-and-Run Injures 2 at Palm and Walnut Avenues

Sacramento, CA (March 22, 2019) – An alleged hit-and-run accident on Wednesday afternoon sent two people to the hospital. One person suffered major injuries.

The accident occurred near Palm and Walnut Avenues, close to Interstate 80. The California Highway Patrol stated that the crash involved a red car of unidentified make and a silver Nissan Sentra.

The CHP reported that a man in his 40s was observed leaving one of the cars and fleeing the area. Further details about the man, including whether or not he was located, were not included in the report.

Emergency medical personnel and the local fire department arrived on the scene to assist those injured in the accident. One of the patients sustained major injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The names of those injured in the accident were not reported. The accident is currently under investigation.
