Sacramento, CA. Man Killed in Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Accident on Folsom Boulevard

Sacramento, CA. (July 3, 2018) – A hit-and-run accident killed a pedestrian on Folsom Boulevard just shortly before midnight on Sunday, July 1, according to a local and reliable news source. The accident happened at approximately 11:5 p.m. when a motorist struck a man who was walking east of Mayhew Road and then fled the scene.

Moments after the accident occurred, two more vehicles apparently struck the man as well. However, both of those drivers stopped their vehicles in order to attend to the victim. Unfortunately, a fourth vehicle hit the man, and that driver also continued on to flee the scene without stopping. Neither of the drivers who stopped at the scene are considered to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time.

Currently, there are two hit-and-run drivers who are being looked for by police. No further information on the reason this accident began has been released. The identity of the male victim who died at the scene is unknown. California Highway Patrol is working an investigation in an effort to establish all the factors of this crash.
