Sacramento, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision with Injuries on Hwy 51

Sacramento, CA (November 5, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic collision that occurred in North Sacramento early Monday morning. The accident transpired at approximately 2:11 a.m. on the southbound lanes of Highway 51 near Exposition Boulevard.

A Dodge Charger and a second vehicle were reportedly traveling on Highway 51 heading southbound when for unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided into one another. Police and firefighters responded to the accident to clear the roadway and render aid to the injured victims. Paramedics transported an unspecified number of injured victims to a local hospital for additional treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. Authorities are working to establish the events that occurred prior to the multi-vehicle accident.
