Sacramento, CA – One Seriously Injured in Motorcycle VS Auto Collision on 80 Freeway

Sacramento, CA (August 4, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol released a report that stated that a motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in a collision Friday afternoon on the Interstate 80 Freeway. The injurious accident reportedly transpired in the eastbound lanes of the freeway at approximately 4:00 p.m. in the vicinity of the Longview Drive off-ramp.

According to the CHP report, emergency responders arrived on the scene immediately in order to help any injured victims. Upon their arrival, medical personnel discovered an unidentified person who had sustained serious injuries. The victim was quickly rushed to Mercy San Juan Medical Center to be treated for severe trauma including lacerations and a broken foot.

There was no word as to whether or not the other parties involved suffered any injuries, and no more information has been released in regards to the events that caused the collision. Authorities are presently investigating all of the forensic evidence in an effort to determine who may be liable for the damages.
