Sacramento, CA – One Victim Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Collision along southbound Highway 99 near 5 Freeway

Sacramento, CA (September 3, 2018) – Local authorities confirmed one victim required hospitalization as the result of a two-vehicle collision that took place along the southbound lanes of Highway 99, in the vicinity of the 5 Freeway. The California Highway Patrol initially logged the incident at approximately 11:55 AM on Sunday, August 2, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash has been revealed.

Based on the report, a black Infiniti and a gray Ford Mustang had collided for indeterminate reasons along Highway 99. The resulting impact ultimately caused one of the vehicle’s airbags to deploy. Authorities later requested an ambulance for transportation.
