Sacramento, CA – One Victim Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Collision along southbound Highway 99 near 5 Freeway
Sacramento, CA (September 3, 2018) – Local authorities confirmed one victim required hospitalization as the result of a two-vehicle collision that took place along the southbound lanes of Highway 99, in the vicinity of the 5 Freeway. The California Highway Patrol initially logged the incident at approximately 11:55 AM on Sunday, August 2, 2018. At this time, no detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash has been revealed.
Based on the report, a black Infiniti and a gray Ford Mustang had collided for indeterminate reasons along Highway 99. The resulting impact ultimately caused one of the vehicle’s airbags to deploy. Sometime later, emergency teams were dispatched to the crash site and provided medical aid to at least one victim, who suffered an injury to the arm. Authorities later requested an ambulance for transportation.
Afterward, towing services removed the Mustang from the scene.
