Sacramento, CA – Police Chase Ends in Car Crash at Arcade Boulevard Intersection

Sacramento, CA (January 26, 2019) – A police chase ended in a car crash on Friday morning at the intersection of Arcade Boulevard and Branch Street, according to investigating police.

The pursuit began when a police officer noticed that a motorist was driving recklessly and chased after them. However, the suspect finally lost control of their vehicle at the intersection. The suspect’s vehicle smashed into four vehicles, including a driver named Stephanie Marino.

Marino is a pregnant woman with two children who were in her vehicle at the time. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect, 35-year-old Michael Kennedy, was arrested immediately following the accident and charged with grand theft, resisting arrest, evading police, and many other charges. The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
