Sacramento, CA – Three People Injured in Collisions on Highway 99
Sacramento, CA (February 2, 2019) – In Sacramento, three people were injured in a series of severe collisions that took place on Highway 99 early on Friday morning. The California Highway Patrol investigated the accidents.
The initial crash took place around 2 a.m. when a vehicle smashed into the center divider, which caused a chain-reaction crash involving three other vehicles. Two people got out of their vehicles and were struck in a pedestrian accident.
Paramedics were called to the scene to attend to those involved in the accident and found that at least two received major injuries. Several lanes were closed down on the highway.
At this time, police continue to investigate the accident so that they can determine liability.
