Sacramento, CA – Tractor-Trailer Involved in Crash at Intersection of 47th and Kiessig Avenues
Sacramento, CA (July 25, 2018) – A collision that reportedly involved a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck occurred Wednesday morning at the intersection of 47th Avenue and Kiessig Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash that apparently resulted in injuries to the driver of the pickup truck reportedly took place at approximately 8:45 a.m.
Paramedics along with the fire department were both dispatched to the scene of the crash I order to assist any victims. The arrival of the emergency crews reportedly blocked off the number 2 lane of 47th Avenue as the pickup truck driver appeared to be the only one injured. The injuries sustained by the victim were classified as moderate, which was confirmed by officials from the California Highway Patrol. The victim was quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
There was no more information made available in regards to the events that led to this incident. Likewise, neither the name nor the specific condition of the victim has been released at this time. The cause of the injurious crash is currently under investigation by the authorities.
