Sacramento, CA – Multiple People Injured after Vehicle Crashes through Dollar Tree on Stockton Boulevard

Sacramento, CA (July 12, 2018) – Sacramento local news sources reported that multiple people sustained injuries as the result of an accident at a Dollar Tree store on 7020 Stockton Boulevard. The incident occurred at approximately 2:40 PM in the afternoon on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash at this time.

According to the report from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, a woman in her 70s was driving down Stockton when, for indeterminate reasons, she increased speed. Without warning, she veered off the road and crashed through the front window of a nearby Dollar Tree.

First responder teams of firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash site and assisted at least six victims, among them a man and his 10-year old grandson. Officials confirmed these people only sustained non-life threatening injuries from the impact. Afterward, the 10-year old and two more victims were transported to a nearby hospital to receive more in-depth treatment. The current conditions of all six people have not been disclosed.

As of now, the investigation is ongoing.
