Authorities are working hard to determine what specifically caused the crash. Forensic teams will examine photographs of the crash site and inspect the motorcycle and Prius for mechanical issues or system failure. Officials will also consider if drunk driving, drug abuse, negligence, distracted driving, or reckless behavior played any part in the events leading up to the crash.
Depending on the final results of the investigation, the motorcyclist will have the legal right to file a personal injury lawsuit against the guilty party.
