Salida, CA – Two Injured in Serious Traffic Collision

Salida, CA (January 4, 2019) On the 2nd of January, a serious traffic collision happened at the intersection of Beckwith Road and North Dakota Avenue. According to the reports, a Chevrolet Suburban and a tractor-trailer rig crashed into each other for unknown reasons at around 3:50 a.m. The impact caused the Chevrolet to get trapped underneath the trailer. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found the driver of the Chevy, 25-year-old Robert Fletcher, and his passenger, 20-year-old Ryan Lima Jr., suffering from major injuries. They transported Fletcher to Doctors Medical Center and Lima to Memorial Medical Center. However, the truck driver was not harmed in this accident. The police are currently investigating to determine what caused the crash and who should be held responsible for damages.
