San Bernardino, CA – Jonathan Lee Durrer Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Portola St

San Bernardino, CA (May 2, 2019) On the afternoon of April 30^th, a fatal motorcycle crash happened at the intersection of Portola Street and Christy Avenue.

A 20-year-old man named Jonathan Lee Durrer was riding his motorcycle with a 14-year-old passenger when a 16-year-old driver turned into a driveway and struck the motorcycle. The fatal accident happened at approximately 3:45 p.m.

When the paramedics arrived to help, they found Durrer dead at the scene while his passenger suffered from major injuries. The injured passenger was immediately taken in for surgery for life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are currently investigating to determine why the teen crashed into the motorcycle.
