San Bernardino, CA – One Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Crash at Ninth and Quince
San Bernardino, CA (February 18, 2019) – On Friday evening, around 5:30 p.m., police claim that one person was seriously injured in a pedestrian crash at a local intersection.
Police were called to the intersection of Ninth and Quince Streets where they found that a motor vehicle driver struck a pedestrian. The 59-year-old pedestrian had allegedly been walking across the street when he suddenly bent down so that he could tie his shoe when he did not see anybody coming.
An oncoming vehicle suddenly struck the pedestrian. The 29-year-old driver stopped his vehicle and stayed at the scene of the crash to cooperate with police.
Paramedics immediately rushed the pedestrian to the hospital, where he was treated for a variety of injuries. He is currently in serious condition. Police continue their investigation at this time.
