San Bernardino, CA – Pregnant Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on Highland Avenue

San Bernardino, CA (July 12, 2018) – A 40-year-old woman who was reportedly pregnant was hit and killed by a motorist on Highland Avenue Wednesday, according to a local a reliable news source. The exact time of the fatal accident was not made available, but reports stated that the woman was attempting to cross Highland Avenue when she was struck.

The collision occurred on Highland at Medical Center Drive where the victim was apparently walking in a crosswalk. After hitting the pregnant woman, the driver of the vehicle reportedly slammed into a nearby fence. The suspect proceeded to get out of the vehicle and flee the scene on foot. The victim was found lying in the middle of the street as the suspect did not stop to offer assistance or cooperate with authorities.
