San Carlos, California – Motorcyclist Sustains Serious Injuries after Traffic Accident on Northbound Highway 101

San Carlos, California (June 26, 2018) – Local news sources reported that a motorcyclist sustained severe injuries as the result of a traffic accident on northbound Highway 101, just south of Holly Street. The incident took place at approximately 5:07 PM in the late afternoon on Friday, June 22, 2018. Information regarding the identities of the rider and motorists involved has not been released to public sources. Meanwhile, authorities have not disclosed details concerning the vehicles, including model number and year.

The California Highway Patrol reported that a blue sedan crashed into a motorcycle on Highway 101, near Holly Street. As a result of the impact, the motorcyclist suffered severe injuries and reportedly was unable to move a leg. Later, this individual was rushed to a nearby hospital to receive treatment. The condition of the motorist remains unknown.

Later, officials closed Holly Street to conduct further operations.
